Having joined Auvik just a few weeks ago, I’ve been struck by how the company’s culture has adapted to the realities of rapid growth. While the company is evolving to become truly global, we haven’t lost sight of our Canadian heritage. That’s why I am thrilled to share that Auvik has been named one of Canada’s Top Small and Medium Employers for 2023! Being recognized on a national level is truly an honor, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to showcase the best of what Canada has to offer.

The recognition is particularly special for us as we transition to a 100% remote environment—one not to be taken lightly. Auvik is committed to maintaining the level of innovation, service, and support that our customers have come to expect. The award notes some of the key steps Auvik has taken to help our remote workforce stay connected, productive, engaged, and collaborative. Our leaders have doubled down on bolstering regular communication and relationship-building channels that we think are vital to creating a great place to work.

That communication also goes all the way up and down the line. Our new hires never go more than 2 weeks without meeting our CEO, who talks through our culture, our values, and encourages open discussions with full transparency.

We’re also fun! To offset the normal stresses that come with work, we host creative virtual events—from company-wide events like magic shows and escape rooms to small groups that love playing cards and hosting Family Feud. Supporting the mental health of our team is a priority at Auvik. These are just a few things to keep in mind for anyone contemplating an Auvik career.
