Auvik Networks Named a 2015 Cool Vendor by Gartner

WATERLOO, ON May 6, 2015 — Auvik Networks is cool. A newly released Gartner report names the network management software company as a Cool Vendor in IT operations management for 2015.

Gartner, the world’s leading IT research and advisory company, noted that, “For I&O leaders, the complexity of the tools that are supposed to simplify infrastructure technology management is becoming a bigger challenge than the problems the tools were intended to solve. Cool Vendors analyzed in this report provide simplistic and innovative ways to tackle the complexity.”

“Managing business-critical networks is still more difficult than it should be,” said Auvik co-founder and CEO Marc Morin.

“At Auvik, our goal has always been to turn network management on its head by making it very simple—but still powerful. For example, our intuitive interface makes Auvik easy to use, while our cloud-based delivery model means our customers get software that’s always up to date with no complicated licensing.”

Auvik’s network management software, built for small and mid-sized businesses, offers automated network mapping, monitoring and configuration management, along with troubleshooting tools and remote desktop management. Subscriptions start at just $199 per month.

Gartner’s Cool Vendors in IT Operations Management, 2015 report, authored by Tapati Bandopadhyay and Vivek Bhalla, on April 28, 2015, is available through the Gartner website.
