You can’t fix a vulnerability you don’t know exists
New vulnerabilities emerge every day. Instead of tracking vendor advisories, emails, and other sources yourself, CVE Monitoring connects known CVEs to the devices you manage and helps you prioritize what needs attention.

Stay ahead of vulnerabilities across your network
See vulnerabilities you might otherwise miss
Surface known CVEs associated with the devices you manage, including vulnerabilities you might not have discovered on your own.
Prioritize your most critical security risks
Use CVSS scores to cut through a long list of vulnerabilities and focus on the highest-severity issues first.
Respond faster across your network
Use automation to investigate and remediate vulnerabilities across multiple devices instead of repeating the same work device by device.
Stay ahead of new vulnerabilities
Get alerted to new CVEs based on the devices and severity levels you care about, so you know when it’s time to investigate. (Coming soon)

CVE Monitoring FAQs
What is a CVE?
CVE stands for Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures. A CVE identifies a publicly known security vulnerability. CVE Monitoring shows known CVEs associated with devices and firmware in your Auvik inventory.
What is a CVSS score?
CVSS stands for Common Vulnerability Scoring System. It scores vulnerability severity on a scale from 0 to 10. CVE Monitoring lets you filter vulnerabilities by CVSS score so you can focus on higher-severity issues first.
Does a CVE listed for my device mean the device is definitely vulnerable?
Not necessarily. CVE Monitoring identifies known vulnerabilities associated with a device and firmware. Whether a specific device is affected can also depend on factors such as its current patch level or configuration.
Can Auvik help remediate a vulnerability?
Yes. When remediation involves a configuration change, Auvik’s automation framework can run jobs across multiple devices, helping you investigate impacted configurations and make changes across your fleet without updating devices one at a time.
