Alex Hoff of Auvik Networks Named a 2019 CRN Channel Chief

Alex Hoff, VP Product and Sales

WATERLOO, ON / February 11, 2019 — CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has recognized Alex Hoff, VP Product and Sales at Auvik Networks, as a CRN Channel Chief for the second straight year. CRN’s editorial staff select the executives on this annual list based on their professional achievements, standing in the industry, dedication to the channel partner community, and strategies for driving future growth and innovation.

Hoff is the co-founder of Auvik Networks, a cloud-based software company focused on making network management more efficient and profitable for IT managed service providers (MSPs). Since Auvik was founded in 2011, Alex has spearheaded product development, channel sales, and partner success, working closely with the channel to create a network management system that meets the evolving needs of MSPs.

“Our primary goal at Auvik is to work with MSPs and help grow their businesses, so I’m thrilled our dedication to the channel community has generated real value,” said Hoff. “To provide exceptional support to our expanding partner base, our team has grown rapidly over the past two years. Being named to this list amongst some of the top IT channel companies is recognition for everyone’s commitment and partner-first attitude at Auvik.”

Auvik was developed to solve a real problem felt by MSPs: the complexity of network management. Prior to Auvik, MSPs could only monitor and manage a portion of their clients’ networks—just endpoints and servers. There was no software solution to simplify the management of network devices like firewalls, switches, and routers. Spurred by Hoff’s leadership, market focus, and expertise, Auvik has filled this gap, augmenting the channel’s ability to provide complete managed services.

“The individuals on CRN’s 2019 Channel Chiefs list deserve special recognition for their contribution and support in the development of robust partner programs, innovative business strategies, and significant influence to the overall health of the IT channel,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “We applaud each Channel Chief’s remarkable record of accomplishments and look forward to following their continued success.”
