Configuration changes

Configuration changes happen frequently in 46% of companies surveyed, a big increase from 2015.

Backups & Documentation

Even with frequent changes, 27% of companies never or rarely back up configs or update documentation.

Outsourcing

74% of organizations outsource at least some network-related tasks, with ~20% separating the most- and least-outsourced tasks.

Typical work week

Compared to 2015, fewer IT pros report working overtime, but automating some key network tasks can improve this stat even further.
