Frankly MSP Live—the new content and networking experience for growth-minded MSPs—happens Jan 13 – 15, 2020 in Santa Barbara, California.
In the spirit of 2020, the event is designed to help you see your business in a new light. Here are 7 reasons you won’t want to miss it (and will want to buy your ticket ASAP).
- You’ll learn how to put profit first with Mike Michalowicz
The Frankly MSP Live opening keynote is being delivered by Mike Michalowicz, a former MSP who’s now the bestselling author of The Toilet-Paper Entrepreneur, The Pumpkin Plan, Profit First, and more.
Mike will be teaching you how to put profit first for your MSP. By the end of his talk, you’ll have the simple tools you need to make your MSP permanently profitable. He’ll also be hosting a book signing before lunch, so make sure you stop by.
- You’ll stay at a scenic 5-star resort on the Pacific Ocean
Frankly MSP Live is hosted at The Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara, a scenic oceanside resort overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
The hotel is spread out along 78 acres of the Gaviota Coast, and you’ll stay in one of its many Mediterranean-style villas. When you’re not in sessions, there are tons of activities to fill your downtime, including eating locally sourced food with an ocean view (the Angel Oak restaurant has 12,000 bottles of wine) and relaxing at the spa.
On Day 2 of Frankly MSP Live, you can join a group run along the hotel’s many paths or a guided meditation session to recharge.
- You’ll get to pick the brains of the brightest in the biz
^ That will be you when you leave the Frankly MSP Brain Trust Lounge, where you can go 1:1 with 10 of the brightest minds in managed services and ask them anything about the industry or your business. It’s a networking session like no other.
You can expect to see some familiar faces in the lounge including IT business growth expert Richard Tubb, managed services guru Karl Palachuk, Sell My MSP managing partner Rayanne Buchianico (check out her Frankly MSP podcast appearance here), and MSP Luis Alvarez (another awesome podcast guest).
- You can test your mettle—and earn some sweet swag
Before the practical sessions and hands-on vendor labs start, we’re kicking off Frankly MSP Live in the coolest way possible—by hosting a Polar Plunge.
Luckily for you, Frankly MSP Live is in California. Even in January, it won’t be that cold. But if you brave the 55 degree water, you’ll earn a custom t-shirt and towel—and full bragging rights.
- You’ll see what’s working in managed services today
Building on the Frankly MSP podcast, our diverse speaker lineup focuses on ways to improve the performance of your business by talking financial strategies, sales and marketing, team management, automation, productivity, and more.
Here’s a sneak peek of what you can expect:
- Mark Horstman of Manager Tools fame will share proven strategies for effectively managing your team.
- Sell Your MSP’s Amy Babinchak will share how to structure your MSP for growth.
- MSP business improvement expert Erick Simpson will explain how you can generate more revenue from existing clients using technology road maps.
Keep an eye on the Frankly MSP Live schedule—our lineup of speakers and their topics will be available soon.
- You’ll get helpful advice for the year ahead… from a psychic
Bet you didn’t see that one coming. (See what we did there?)
But seriously—there’s going to be a psychic at the Vision Party. In 2020 (20/20?), how could you not? You can get your cards read to see what’s in store for your MSP—and find out which sessions you really need to pay attention to.
Before founding his MSP, Josh lived in Guatemala for a year, helping to build computer labs while learning Spanish and doing a lot of DJing—so he’s the perfect man for the job. You’ll also see him on the stage later in the event, since he’s in our speaker lineup.
- You’ll get the event experience you’ve always wanted
We want Frankly MSP Live to be as intimate and interactive as possible—and that’s why we’ve limited the event to 150 tickets.
You’ll get tons of facetime with other attendees, so you can actually connect—not just exchange business cards and continue on your way. You can find out what other MSPs are doing, build relationships, and swap stories.
You can be confident you’ll walk away from Frankly MSP Live with fresh perspectives, practical strategies, and business-boosting ideas you can use to grow the success and the profit of your MSP.
If you’re planning to attend Frankly MSP Live but haven’t bought your ticket yet, you’ll want to register now. Tickets are limited and when they’re gone, they’re really gone. Then you’ll have to wait an entire year to attend Frankly MSP Live 2021.
